Touch the Body

Calm the Mind

Revive the Soul

Elemental Restorative Bodywork is a massage and bodywork practice focused on enhancing the body's natural restorative functions.

Restorative: having the ability to restore health, strength, or a feeling of well-being; something that serves to restore to consciousness, vigor, or health

Elemental Restorative Bodywork (E.R.B.) was born out of a passion for helping people feel their best physically, mentally, and emotionally.

With over 25 years of practice in the healthcare (physical therapy) and fitness field, Erin brings extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system as well as physical rehabilitation to her work. With this unique blend of experience, Erin tailors each session to the needs of her client, whether it be to address a specific area of tension in the body, or to aid in overall relaxation and stress relief. If you experience chronic tightness or pain, Erin can work specifically to target these areas of concern. She utilizes a variety of soft tissue techniques and practices in order to create an individualized restorative experience, and specializes in lymphatic drainage massage both for post-surgical conditions as well as for overall lymphatic and immune system wellness.

Erin also offers rehabilitative massage that is used in conjunction with, and during the course of physical therapy treatment, to augment the benefits of physical therapy and accelerate healing and recovery time. This translates to both greater patient satisfaction as well as improved functional outcomes.

Erin’s mission is to help each of her massage clients to feel restored in both their body and soul in order to face life’s daily challenges.

Touch, and therapeutic massage more specifically, is a powerful healing modality. Massage not only has a profound effect on the physical body, but also on a person's mental and emotional health. Massage has been scientifically proven to not only lower the levels of cortisol (primary stress hormone) in the body, but also boost serotonin and dopamine which are neurotransmitters that help regulate our mood and feelings of well-being.

"Massage has had a positive effect on every medical condition we've looked at."

Tiffany Field, PhD, Director, Touch Research Institute, University of Miami

In addition to being a licensed physical therapist, Erin is also a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA - CPT).
